ROSI-LTS Troubleshooting

Fix FFmpeg, Deno, and download issues on ROSI-LTS (v3.x long-term support).

FFmpeg not found

ROSI-LTS does not bundle FFmpeg. Install it on your system PATH or set a custom FFmpeg path in Settings. Follow the Installing FFmpeg guide for Windows, macOS, and Linux steps.

Deno warnings on startup

Some ROSI-LTS builds use Deno for optional features. If you see a Deno prompt, install Deno from deno.land or dismiss the warning if you do not need that feature.

Download fails

  • Confirm FFmpeg is installed and the path in Settings is correct.
  • Update to the latest ROSI-LTS release for yt-dlp fixes.
  • For login-protected sites, use browser cookie hooking (same as current ROSI). See the Browser Cookies guide.

Which ROSI should I use?

ROSI-LTS is the v3.x UI with maintenance updates only. For the current v4.x app with bundled FFmpeg, see What is the LTS Version? and the ROSI Getting Started guide.

Still stuck?

See the ROSI-LTS FAQ or contact support with your version, OS, and any error text from the app.
