Download fails or URL is not supported
- Confirm the link works in your browser and the site is supported by yt-dlp.
- Update ROSI to the latest release; yt-dlp is bundled and updated with the app.
- Try a different format or quality preset if one option errors out.
- Check the in-app log or error message for a yt-dlp exit code.
Site requires sign-in or age verification
Some sites need cookies from your browser. Enable Hook into Web Browser in Settings, pick a supported browser, and follow the Browser Cookies guide.
Download is slow or stuck
- Large files and live streams can take time; watch the queue for progress.
- Pause other heavy network activity on your connection.
- Restart the download if it has been idle with no progress for several minutes.
Updates
ROSI checks GitHub for new releases. If an in-app update fails, download the latest installer from the downloads page or GitHub releases.
