Coming soon
Rosie SSH is not on the App Store yet and is not in public beta. This page describes the planned products.
Free tier
Rosie SSH is coming soon to the App Store. When it is live, it will be free to download and include the core SSH experience:
- 1 saved host.
- 1 saved SSH key.
- Quick Connect for temporary sessions.
- Interactive terminal sessions.
- SFTP browsing and file operations.
- Adjustable terminal font size.
Quick Connect is not the same as a saved host. It is useful for one-off sessions.
What Pro unlocks
Rosie SSH Pro removes the saved-host and saved-key limits. It also unlocks:
- Custom themes.
- One-hop jump hosts.
- Local port forwarding.
Font size changes are available without Pro.
Jump hosts support a single hop. Local port forwards are available in Pro. Remote and dynamic forwards are not in the first release.
Pro vs Family
There are two non-consumable purchase options:
- Rosie SSH Pro: unlocks Pro for your Apple Account.
- Rosie SSH Pro (Family): unlocks the same Pro features and supports Apple Family Sharing.
Both purchases unlock the same in-app features. The Family option only changes how Apple shares the purchase with your family group. The App Store displays the price for your region.
Restore purchases
If Pro does not appear after purchase:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
- Make sure the device is signed into the Apple Account that bought Pro.
- Check that the App Store is reachable.
Rosie SSH uses Apple’s StoreKit purchase system. Rosie SSH does not receive payment details and does not run its own receipt server.
Products unavailable
If the Pro screen says products are unavailable:
- Check the network connection.
- Make sure the App Store is available on the device.
- Sign into your Apple Account.
- Try again later if the App Store is having service issues.
For TestFlight builds, products may also be unavailable if the build is not associated with the in-app purchases in App Store Connect.
