No telemetry or analytics are recorded by the IYERIS app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage statistics, or device information from users.
Self Updater
IYERIS uses a self-updating mechanism to check for and download updates. When checking for updates, the app may send a request to our update server (GitHub) to determine if a newer version is available. NOTE: The self updating mechanism is not present on Microsoft Store versions of IYERIS as updates are handled through the Microsoft Store.
This request may include basic information such as the current version of the app and your operating system type (Windows, MacOS, Linux) to ensure compatibility.
- Your IP address may be shared with GitHub as part of the download/update process.
- This feature is ONLY activated on app startup (The app auto checks if there is a new version. Additionally, this option can be disabled), or if a user presses the "Check for Updates" button within the app.
