No Telemetry
No telemetry or analytics are recorded by the CONV2 app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage statistics, or device information from users.
Self Updater
CONV2 uses a self-updating mechanism to check for and download updates. When checking for updates, the app may send a request to our update server (GitHub) to determine if a newer version is available.
This request may include basic information such as the current version of the app and your operating system type (Windows, MacOS, Linux) to ensure compatibility.
- Your IP address may be shared with GitHub as part of the download/update process.
- This feature is ONLY activated on app startup (The app auto checks if there is a new version), and this option can be disabled in settings. This also applies if a user presses the “Check for Updates” button within the app.

CONV2 is open source, meaning anyone is welcome to browse the codebase on its GitHub Repository!
